Guillem Balague believes Real Madrid will look to sign Liverpool FC star Mohamed Salah ahead of Eden Hazard this summer.
The Egypt international has enjoyed a sensational first season at the Anfield outfit after Salah moved to Liverpool FC from AS Roma in a £39m deal in the 2017 summer transfer window.
Salah scooped the PFA player of the year award last weekend after the Liverpool FC star saw off competition from Premier League winner Kevin De Bruyne for the accolade.
The 25-year-old has scored 31 times in 33 games in the Premier League this season ahead of their home clash against Stoke City at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds forward netted twice and made two assists in Liverpool FC’s impressive 5-2 victory over Serie A side AS Roma on Tuesday night.
Salah has netted 11 goals in 13 games in the Champions League this term, while the African forward is four goals short of equalling Ian Rush’s record of 47 goals in a season.
La Liga expert Balague suggested that Real Madrid could switch their focus from Chelsea FC no10 Hazard to Salah at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.
Balague wrote on Twitter:
“If RM meet LFC in the CL final, Spanish media, incentivized by inside the Real camp, will suggest Salah could be the perfect galactico.
Till very recently the target was Hazard. But Real always try to sign the best around. And that’s why they win even when they shouldn’t”
Liverpool FC will face either La Liga giants Real Madrid or Bundesliga winners Bayern Munich in the Champions League final if the Reds manage to avoid an upset in the return leg.
