Olivier Giroud has promised Eden Hazard and Willian that he will continue trying to set up the attacking duo as Chelsea FC prepare for their Champions League showdown with FC Barcelona on Wednesday night.
Giroud has been adapting well to life at Chelsea FC since signing for the Blues from Arsenal in the January transfer window.
The 31-year-old striker has scored one goal and set up another so far for the west London side as he looks to prove his worth to Chelsea FC boss Antonio Conte between now and the end of the season.
Giroud will be hoping to hold down a regular spot in the first team at Stamford Bridge in the coming weeks as he bids to win a place in the France squad for the World Cup this summer.
The striker featured for 72 minutes as Chelsea FC claimed a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday.
And the former Arsenal star has revealed his approach as he bids to hold down a regular spot in the Chelsea FC first team.
Speaking in an interview with Chelsea FC’s website, Giroud said: “It’s important keep the confidence high and work for your team-mates so I tried to deliver some passes for Willian and Eden.
“I’m happy because we won and even if I didn’t score I’m sure I will in the next games.”
The striker will be hoping to feature for Chelsea FC when the Blues take on FC Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
