Bayern Munich are ready to move in for Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata next summer as they prepare to lose Robert Lewandowski to a top European rival.
There have been reports that Lewandowski will be approached by Real Madrid and Manchester United, next summer as the two top European clubs chase a goalscorer of the Pole’s pedigree.
Bayern are reluctant to do business for the 28-year old who has been prolific in his career in the Bundesliga.
However the report by the Daily Mail, says Real are almost certain to tie down a deal for the striker next summer with only the two clubs yet to agree on a deal.
Bayern on the other hand are very confident of tying Lewandowski down to a new deal and keeping him off the radar.
Despite this fact, Bayern have began drawing up lists of strikers capable of replacing the former Borussia Dortmund striker and Morata has emerged as one of the favorites.
Morata has scored 13 goals this season for Chelsea in all competitions and has failed to bag in goals for majority of 2018, but that has not deterred Bayern to consider him as a potential arrival next summer.
