Marco Asensio has told Real Madrid that he has an offer on the table from Chelsea and that he’ll be looking to quit the La Liga giants in the summer if he does not get more game time, according to reports.
The 22-year-old has started just 11 league games this year and even though he has six goals and four assists, Zinedine Zidane has been reluctant to use him more.
According to reports, the 22-year-old has spoken to Madrid’s president Florentino Perez and has told him that he’s willing to quit the Bernabeu if he doesn’t get more game time.
Chelsea are interested in signing the attacking midfielder, as are a whole host of clubs across Europe, and they’ll be keeping an eye on how the situation develops.
With the likes of Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Liverpool and Manchester United also keen on the Spanish international, a bidding war could be on the cards if Madrid do allow him to leave in the summer.
