REAL MADRID have tabled a player-plus-cash deal for Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard.
The Belgium international is a long-term target for the Spanish giants.
Hazard, 27, was tipped to quit the Blues for Real last summer but the winger broke his ankle, ending any hope of a deal.
The attacker’s Chelsea future is currently up in the air, with Hazard yet to pen a new long-term contract at Stamford Bridge.
And according to Spanish news outlet Diario Gol, Real have tabled a swap deal for Hazard.
Florentino Perez wants to reduce Chelsea’s asking price for the Belgium star and the Real president is willing to let Isco, Gareth Bale or Karim Benzema go in a player-plus-cash move.
Diario Gol say Perez wants to get rid of the three Real stars and he’s keen to use one of them to complete the Hazard deal.
Chelsea’s favoured player out of the trio is said to be Spain international Isco.
Hazard opened up on Chelsea’s hit-and-miss season earlier this week, with the former Lille star claiming the Blues must finish in the top four this time out.
“We have to work and win games. When you play for Chelsea you have to put this in your mind and give everything on the pitch,” said Hazard.
“We need to be in the top four, for the Champions League next season, and it would be good if we can take the FA Cup.
“We are also in the Champions League, it’s not easy to win the Champions League but we will go for everything.
“We have a good team, we have good players. We have three months to play until the end of the season and we have to give everything to reach our targets. When you play for Chelsea the target has to be to win trophies.”
