Gary Cahill is confident that Chelsea FC will be able to bounce back to winning ways in the Premier League by beating West Brom on Monday night.
It has been a torrid few weeks for Antonio Conte’s side, with the Blues having been dumped out of the League Cup at the hands of Arsenal and then suffering back to back defeats in the Premier League.
Chelsea FC were beaten 3-0 at home by Bournemouth before losing 4-1 to Watford last week to dent their hopes of finishing in the top four this season.
The west London side now have the chance to get back to winning ways when they host the Baggies at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.
And Blues captain Cahill is confident that he and his team-mates will be able to reverse their fortunes by claiming the three points against the visitors at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, Cahill said: “The last two results and the performances were not good enough.
“As players, and I am sure as the manager, the only thing you want is the next game to come around so you can try and put it right and we have that opportunity on Monday.
“I feel this month is very important. I think when we come out of the end of February it could shape the season. We realise that.
“If we get the right result and performance on Monday you start getting that confidence back into the team and keep building from there.”
Chelsea FC will take on FC Barcelona in the last 16 of the Champions League later this month as they bid to try and enjoy a successful end to the season.
The west London side won the Premier League title in style last term but are now focused on finishing in the top four this season.
