EDEN HAZARD has been offered a mammoth contract from Chelsea to convince him to stay at Stamford Bridge, according to reports.
The Belgian winger has been touted to join Real Madrid this summer.
Real boss Zinedine Zidane is a massive fan of the 27-year-old, and the feeling is understood to be mutual.
Hazard has built up a big reputation since joining the Blues in 2012.
He has helped the club win two Premier League titles and has been given the PFA Player of the Year award twice.
The Madrid club have eyed the former Lille forward as their main target as they aim to revamp their squad.
A huge summer overhaul is expected at the Bernabeu after what has been perceived as a poor season.
Despite winning La Liga and the Champions League last year, a number of key stars will be sold to make way for a new generation of Galacticos.
And Hazard tops that list, along with team-mate Thibaut Courtois and Tottenham ace Harry Kane.
But, according to Don Balon, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has offered the Belgium international an astronomical offer.
The Spanish publication reports that he has offered him a whopping £15m-a-year (£288k-a-week) to prolong his six-year stay at Stamford Bridge.
Hazard has spoken about the links to Real Madrid recently in the press.
He said: “In football you never know, I’m happy at Chelsea and focused on them.”
