Barcelona and Chelsea will do battle at the Nou Camp on March 14 in the Champions League last 16 second leg, however reports have emerged that one of the Catalan’s brightest stars is ready for a switch away from the club.
According to reports, the La Liga side are ready to send Ousmane Dembele out on loan next season, with the board wanting to give him time to improve and develop.
The 20-year-old made the switch from Borussia Dortmund to Spain in the summer for a huge fee of around £97m, however things have not gone quite so well for the winger.
He has featured in only ten matches for Barcelona, starting just three times in the league and is yet to get his first goal, while also providing only one assist.
Dembele arrived with a lot of optimism and hope on his shoulders, but according to Spanish publication Gol Digital, Barcelona are ready to let him leave for a season.
They also claim that the Blues are the player’s number one choice, which could be an excellent signing for the club should he come in and add extra numbers to the front line.
