Chelsea midfielder has stated he is set to make decisions on his future as his form keeps getting positive reviews over the last three seasons.
The French midfielder has been named France’s Player of the Year 2017, beating off competition from the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Karim Benzema, Paul Pogba and Antoinne Greizmann,
Kante has seen his stock rise since arriving in England in the summer of 2015, winning back to back Premier League titles with Leicester City and Chelsea and collected several individual awards.
He has been linked with moves out of Stamford Bridge, with Olympique Marseille, Real Madrid and other top European clubs mentioned to be closely monitoring his situation at Chelsea.
After Kante received his award as France’s Footballer of the Year, he answered questions about his future and his words will not sit too well with Chelsea fans.
Here’s what he said about his future:
“If Marseille followed me? Yes, it’s true.
“I tell myself that my performances are going in the right direction and that I will soon have choices to make…”
