Fiorentina are considering snapping up Chelsea outcast Baba Rahman on loan during the January transfer window.
Rahman spent last season at Schalke, but his long-term future remains unresolved.
The defender has not kicked a ball for the Premier League champions so far this term.
The full-back does not feature in Antonio Conte’s plans at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea expected to entertain offers for Rahman during next month’s window.
And, according to La Nazione, Fiorentina are interested in signing the Chelsea outcast in a deal for the rest of the season.
While the Blues are keen to ship the defender out in January, they cannot guarantee that Fiorentina will have an option to sign him on a permanent contract next summer.
Rahman joined Chelsea from Augsburg in 2015 and has played only 23 times for the Blues since then.
