Joe Cole has heaped praise on Eden Hazard for his sparkling recent form for Chelsea.
The Belgian playmaker played 69 minutes of Chelsea’s 3-1 victory at Huddersfield Town on Tuesday night as he helped the Blues to return to winning ways in the Premier League following their defeat by West Ham last weekend.
Hazard is widely regarded as one of the Premier League’s top attacking talents and has been earning plenty of praise for his performances for the Blues this season.
The 26-year-old looks to be approaching his best form for Chelsea once again after missing the opening few games of the season due to a serious ankle injury.
And former Chelsea star Cole, who played with Hazard at Lille, has been hugely impressed by the Belgian’s recent form for the west London side.
Speaking to BT Sport after Tuesday night’s 3-1 win at Huddersfield Town, ex-attacker Cole said: “What he does very well is [show] game intelligence.
“He always picks the right pass. He is as strong as an ox. He plays like he plays in the playground.”
Hazard will be expecting to feature for Chelsea when the Blues return to Premier League action on Saturday afternoon with a home clash against Southampton.
The west London side will take on Barcelona in the last 16 of the Champions League after the draw was made on Monday in Nyon.
