‘Fraud, ‘Liability’, ‘Baffling’ – Chelsea fans rip one player to shreds after defeat to West Ham

Chelsea fans took to Twitter to destroy Tiemoue Bakayoko following their team’s 1-0 Premier League defeat to West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday.

A first-half Marko Arnautovic goal was enough to secure the three points for the home side, who took three points for the first time since the appointment of David Moyes as manager.

It was just the third Premier League win of the season for the Hammers and the fourth defeat of the campaign for Chelsea, who remain third in the table but will slip to fourth if Liverpool beat Everton in Sunday’s Merseyside derby.

Antonio Conte’s side were well below par as they were made to look ordinary by the energy and precision of the hosts, who were good value for their win.

Bakayoko was name in the starting XI in Conte’s 3-5-1-1 system, lining up in central midfield alongside Cesc Fabregas and N’Golo Kante.

But the £40million summer signing from Monaco failed to impress and was withdrawn at half-time in favour of Pedro.

Chelsea fans on social media were heavily critical of the performance of Bakayoko, with many claiming he has struggled to justify his massive fee.

  1. The problem is not Bakayoko or any other player. The problem is with Chelsea board. They played too much Nigerian politics with signing players. How can a big team like Chelsea have just one quality finisher??? Was Emenalo deaf and blind when Liverpool was going for our own Salah? Was he in a coma when Man city took Kyle Walker?? Or maybe he was in a pub when Matic left for Man united. Thank God he is gone!!!!!!!!
