Chelsea are keen on making at least three signings in the January transfer window, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that Antonio Conte wants to try and significantly bolster his squad in the mid-season transfer window as the Blues look to get themselves back into the title race.
The same report says that Chelsea are keen to bring in a new wing-back, as well as being open to signing a new striker and central defender in the mid-season transfer window.
The Blues are said to be on the hunt for a new forward because of Michy Batshuayi’s inconsistent form for the west London side.
The same story says that Chelsea are continuing to consider a move to sign Monaco star Thomas Lemar, with Leon Bailey another option – although any move for the Bayer Leverkusen man is likely to be put on hold until next summer.
Chelsea were busy in the summer transfer window as they ended up signing six players in total after a slow start.
The Blues are currently preparing for their home Premier League clash against Southampton at Stamford Bridge as they bid to get themselves back in the title race.
