PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG will leave Borussia Dortmund amid interest from defending Premier League champions Chelsea.
That is according to ESPN FC pundit and former Venezuela striker Alejandro Moreno.
Aubameyang wanted to leave Dortmund last summer after handing in an official transfer request.
Chelsea were one of a number of sides linked with the Gabon international but a deal failed to materialise.
The striker got Chelsea fans excited with an Instagram post in July where he sat on the steps of an aeroplane wearing a blue jacket and blue trainers.
Antonio Conte instead signed Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid, who has scored nine goals in his first 19 appearances for the club.
But with Diego Costa joining Atletico Madrid and Michy Batshuayi not seemingly trusted by Conte, Chelsea could be in the market for another frontman.
Aubameyang has been linked with a move again and Moreno thinks it is certain he will leave Borussia Dortmund.
“Didn’t he take a picture where he was all dressed in Blue outside a private plane?” he said.
“Did the plane leave, is that what happened?
Did he stay on the tarmac or what? Is he still on the runway?
“He’s going somewhere, I don’t know if it’s Chelsea, but he’s going somewhere.”
Aubameyang has scored 17 goals this season in all competitions.
