Frank Lampard and Michael Ballack have been confirmed as the guests of honour at Chelsea’s Annual Lunch in December.
The midfield pair both contributed greatly to the club’s success in the last decade, and will have plenty of stories to tell as they regale the guests at the lunch, where they will be interviewed by Jason Cundy of Chelsea TV.

Both players have now retired, and that has lead to them being linked with the role of technical director, which has been vacant since Michael Emenalo quit on Monday morning. There’s no suggestion that either would be in the frame to move into the role immediately, but given their neither of them has shown much intention of trying coaching, it’s certainly something that we might see in the future.
While Lampard is the club’s all time top scorer and won the Champions League in 2012, Ballack was a member of the side who won the club’s first double in 2010.
