Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante looks set to return to the Blues’ starting lineup for their clash with Manchester United tomorrow evening.
The two sides are set to go head to head in a crunch matchup at Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea no doubt desperate to return to winning ways following their 3-0 hammering at the hands of AS Roma in the Champions League during the week.
Manchester United, meanwhile, will be looking to continue their recovery from a blip at Huddersfield two weeks ago, with Jose Mourinho’s men coming into proceedings on the back of successive victories over Swansea City, Tottenham and Benfica.
The Red Devils head to London with a rake of star names on the sidelines, as all of Paul Pogba, Michael Carrick, Marouane Fellani, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo are set to miss out.
Jesse Lingard also picked up a back problem versus Benfica, and remains a doubt.
Chelsea, on the other hand, have been dealt a huge boost ahead of the clash, with the news that N’Golo Kante will likely be fit to start versus United.
The French midfielder has been pictured training alongside his fellow Blues teammates this morning, with the Times reporting that Antonio Conte looks set to hand the Frenchman his first start in a month tomorrow evening.
Kante picked up a thigh problem whilst on international duty with France at the start of October, since missing 6 games for Chelsea.
The Blues have mightily struggled in his absence, having lost 2 of these 6 fixtures, whilst conceding 11 goals in the process.
