Andreas Christensen is slowly but surely becoming a top defender and once again hie showed that as Denmark dismantled Ireland to qualify for next year’s World Cup.
The 21-year-old started at the back at the Aviva Stadium, and despite going 1-0 down to the Irish, the Danes came back to win 5-1 courtesy of a Christian Eriksen hat-trick.
However, Christensen thought that he had got himself on the scoresheet with the equaliser after 29 minutes, however the effort was given as an own goal to Ireland’s Cyrus Christie, but it was Christensen that made the real impact to get the goal.
Christensen has earned his chance to start for Chelsea with a string of decent performances and Antonio Conte made a big call in the win over Manchester United by dropping David Luiz for the youngster.
The Dane put in a mature performance well above his years, and his performance last night has got Chelsea fans really excited about what the future might hold.
The best defender of all time.

Andreas Christensen is only 21 years-old and is arguably the best young CB in the PL. It's a shame he doesn't start. Hope Luiz stays out of favour for now.
