It’s not been the easiest few weeks, or months, for Brazilian midfielder Willian at Chelsea.
As the Blues have lost back to back Premier League matches against Man City and Crystal Palace, Willian has been slammed by his own supporters.
Indeed, it’s becoming common social media practice for Willian lowlights videos to be compiled at the moment.
These videos usually get thousands of views on social media platforms, as Chelsea fans complain about the South American.

And, in truth, Willian is struggling right now for the Blues. He’s failed to repay the faith shown by Antonio Conte in him in the absence of Alvaro Morata.
Should Conte be looking at others, like Charly Musonda for example, rather than persisting with Willian.
Willian reacts before Roma
It’s now become crystal clear that Willian is aware of the criticism he’s under.
That’s after the Chelsea midfielder reacted on social media to the barrage of hate being thrown in his direction.
Willian has ‘liked’ an Instagram post which has come out in his defence. The post carried the message: “Ignore he haters Willian. They don’t report all you’ve done for our club.”
While Willian may find comfort in this fan sticking up for him, however, it’s ultimately up to Willian to improve on the pitch.
Willian may be back on the bench in the Champions League on Tuesday night against Roma.
Alvaro Morata looks set to return to the starting XI as he’s recovered from a knock.
Victor Moses has been ruled out after a hamstring injury forced the Nigerian off against Crystal Palace.
French midfield star N’Golo Kante will also continue to be missing against Roma.
