CHELSEA are back in action against Crystal Palace this weekend following the international break – and we bring you all the latest news from Stamford Bridge.

Antonio Conte is reportedly interested in signing Red Star Belgrade striker Richmond Boakye.

Boakye has enjoyed a stunning start to the 2017/18 campaign, scoring 10 goals and chipping in with three assists in 16 appearances.

And the Ghana international’s form is said to have attracted interest from Premier League champions Chelsea.

That is according to Ghana Soccernet, who say Chelsea boss Conte is considering a move for the 24-year-old striker in January.

Conte has reportedly ordered his scouts to run the rule over Boakye when Red Star face Arsenal next week and again next month when they meet in the Europa League group stages.

Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante could miss each of the club’s six fixtures in October.

Kante was forced off in the 34th minute of France’s victory over Bulgaria on Saturday night with a suspected hamstring injury.

And according to The Telegraph, Chelsea fear the 26-year-old could be out until November after being assessed by the club’s medics.

That would see the Frenchman miss domestic games against Crystal Palace, Watford, Everton and Bournemouth and two Champions League meetings with Roma.

But the tireless midfielder could hand Blues manager Antonio Conte a boost for their visit of title rivals Manchester United on November 5.

Chelsea top scorer Alvaro Morata will miss Saturday’s trip to Crystal Palace, despite speculation suggesting he’ll be fit.

Morata was forced off in Chelsea’s last outing against Manchester City before the international break with a hamstring injury.

The 24-year-old also pulled out of the Spain squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Israel.

Morata was optimistic that he would return in time to face Palace – but The Telegraph say Antonio Conte will not risk him at Selhurst Park.

The Spaniard, who has scored seven goals in nine appearances this term, is more likely to return for Chelsea’s Champions League visit of Roma next Wednesday.
