Alvaro Morata had two early sights of the Leicester goal as Chelsea made a bright start at the King Power Stadium. He eventually scored on 41 minutes.

The Spain striker tested goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel with a curling strike after a surging run by Tiemoue Bakayoko, who was included in midfield at the expense of Willian.
Morata then narrowly failed to get on the end of a probing Cesc Fabregas throughball.
Chelsea, with wing-backs Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso both prominent, continued to dominate possession, while the Foxes twice threatened on the break through the ever-lively Jamie Vardy.
Bakayoko was included in the Chelsea midfield alongside Fabregas and N’Golo Kante.
Fit-again playmaker Eden Hazard was included among the substitutes as expected, while both new signings Danny Drinkwater and Davide Zappacosta were also on the bench.
