Antonio Conte states his prediction for Leicester v Chelsea

Antonio Conte has warned his Chelsea players not to underestimate the threat posed by Leicester City when the Blues travel to the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

The west London side head into the game looking to continue their recent good form after their victories against Tottenham and Everton.

Chelsea are aiming to retain their Premier League title this season and have been in decent form after their shaky start against Burnley.

And Conte has singled out both Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez as Leicester City’s danger-men heading into Saturday’s crunch clash at the King Power Stadium.

Conte told his pre-match news conference at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground on Friday afternoon: “Two seasons ago they won the title.

“I think this season I watched their previous game and saw a team very strong.

“They lost a game against Arsenal and at the end we must pay great attention.

“When you have Vardy and Mahrez you must pay great attention. They have great experience with Morgan and Fuchs.”

The Italian manager is preparing his side for a return to the Champions League next week, with the Blues set to take on Qarabag at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.

Chelsea won the title for the second time in three season last term following Conte’s appointment last summer.
