The Spanish newspaper claims that Costa is desperate for the two clubs to reach an agreement on the fee which would complete his summer move to Madrid. Diego Costa has agreed to re-join La Liga side Atletico Madrid as his exit from Chelsea moves a major step closer, according to AS.

The report claims that Atletico have tabled a bid to the Premier League champions in excess of £26million for the centre-forward but the Blues did not consider this to be an acceptable offer.
