REAL MADRID are demanding £80m for Alvaro Morata this summer.
That’s according to Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol.
The Spain international looked set to join Manchester United but the Red Devils instead opted for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku.
United announced the signing of the Belgium international today in a £75m deal.
Chelsea – who also wanted Lukaku – have now turned their attention to Morata, 24.
And Solhekol says Real are demanding £80m for the former Juventus man, who is said to be keen to quit the Bernabeu this summer.
“The big question now is, who are Chelsea going to sign now they have missed out on Lukaku?” Solhekol said on Sky Sports News.
“Our colleagues at Sky Italy are reporting that Chelsea have made their move for the Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata.

“Manchester United were in talks with Morata but couldn’t agree a fee.
“Madrid are still asking for about £80m.”
Morata struggled to get game time at Real last season but still netted 20 goals in all competitions.
