Manager has confirmed: Final decision on Alex Sandro has been made

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has insisted that Alex Sandro will stay with the Turin club.

The Brazilian left-back has been tipped to join Chelsea, who are keen to sign a number of players.

However, speaking at a press conference in Boston, where his team beat Roma in a pre-season friendly, Allegri dismissed reports that Sandro could move to Stamford Bridge.

He said:

“Alex Sandro is a brilliant Juventus player and he won’t be moving from here.

“He has improved since he joined the club and still has scope for more improvements.

“I think alongside Marcelo, he is best left-back in the world.”

“Alex Sandro is a sensational player and will not leave.”

Meanwhile, Manchester United’s former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says Blues midfielder Nemanja Matic wants a move to Old Trafford “very, very much.”
