Chelsea ready £63m offer for Alex Sandro

08:00: Chelsea are still in the hunt for Alex Sandro and are reportedly prepared to offer Juventus £63m.

The Blues’ interest appeared to have faded as the wing-back edged closer to a new deal with the Serie A giants.

But according to Italian outlet Calciomercato, Antonio Conte is preparing a bid that is higher than expected.

Juventus are determined not to sell and consider Sandro an untouchable in their side.

However, as he still has not signed a new contract, Chelsea could yet pounce.

No Eden Hazard to Barcelona summer deal

07:30: Eden Hazard will not join Barcelona from Chelsea this summer, despite recent links, according to Steve Nicol.

The Belgium superstar has been earmarked as a potential replacement for Paris Saint-Germain-bound Neymar, but ex-Liverpool star Nicol insists Hazard’s ankle injury rules out the possibility.

When asked about the possibility of the Belgian playing in Spain, Nicol told ESPN FC: “No I don’t specifically because right at this moment in time Hazard is coming back from ankle surgery.

“I’m not going to pay upwards of £100m for a player who I don’t know is going to be back to his best or full fitness at any stage.

“Why would you do that? It makes no sense to me.

“Absolutely they can say no unless they can get a crazy offer but as I said I’m not buying a player who is not fit and who has just had ankle surgery.”

Nemanja Matic move to Manchester United closer

06:45: Nemanja Matic could reportedly complete his proposed move from Chelsea to Manchester United this week.

United have been keeping tabs on the Serbian, with Jose Mourinho keen to reunite with the Chelsea midfielder.

According to the Daily Mail, a £40m move to United could be finalised soon.

It is said Antonio Conte would prefer to bring in another midfielder on top of new arrival Tiemoue Bakayoko before the deal is signed off.
