Chelsea’s £40million signing Tiemoue Bakayoko watched on as the Blues beat Fulham in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
The 22-year-old was at Cobham to watch his new team-mates thrash Fulham 8-2 on the same day he sealed a move from Ligue 1 champions Monaco.
Antonio Conte named a strong starting XI with new signing Willy Caballero playing behind Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Gary Cahill in defence.
Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso ran the flanks with Cesc Fabregas partnering N’Golo Kante in midfield and Michy Batshuayi spearheading a front three completed by Willian and Pedro.
And Batshuayi and Willian combined well in the first period, with the former twice assisting the Brazilian then grabbing two goals of his own after Azpilicueta had put through his own net.
Willian completed his hat-trick before the break, when Conte made 10 changes. Luiz kept his place, but Loic Remy and Tomas Kalas – back from loan spells at Crystal Palace and Fulham respectively – were among those thrown on.
Stefan Johansen scored Fulham’s second from the spot 10 minutes after the interval, but the Cottagers failed to add to their tally therafter.

Remy added a sixth goal before Azpilicueta, reintroduced for Luiz, made amends for an earlier own goal by scoring a seventh.
And Remy completed Chelsea’s rout from the spot after he was upended by Fulham goalkeeper David Button.
