For the last two seasons, Chelsea`s Dutch international midfielder, Marco van Ginkel, has been on loan at PSV Eindhoven.
The Dutchman, now 24-years-of-age, has struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge since joining Chelsea, from Vitesse Arnhem, four years ago.
A serious knee injury hampered his progress at Stamford Bridge and most of his time has been spent out on loan.
Before going back to his native Netherlands with PSV Eindhoven, van Ginkel spent loan periods at Stoke City and AC Milan, an eclectic selection of clubs I think you`ll agree.
However, with van Ginkel not, seemingly, part of Antonio Conte`s plans for the coming season, the media outlet, West London Sport, is implying that PSV Eindhoven would like to take van Ginkel on loan for a third successive season.
Surely, and this may sound harsh, it`s time to make a decision on van Ginkel`s future. If he`s not going to make it at Chelsea, which appears to be the case, then perhaps a sale should be the preferred option.
Your thoughts on the above subject matter would be most welcome in our comments facility.
Should we sell him or should we keep him as a depth option?
