ANTONIO CANDREVA’s agent has claimed he could be tempted into leaving Inter Milan for Chelsea.
Antonio Candreva has emerged as a target for Chelsea as they seek a new winger to offer competition to Victor Moses.
Reports suggest the Blues have turned their attention to the Italy international after missing out on Danilo who has signed for Manchester City this week.
Candreva has today played down reports of a move to Stamford Bridge, claiming he has not heard anything concrete from the Blues.
However, his agent Federico Pastorello has admitted a deal with Chelsea could happen, if though his client his currently happy at Inter.
“Antonio is very calm at the moment and is only thinking about Inter,” Pastorello told Italian outlet FCInter1908.
“He’s happy with the arrival of [Luciano] Spalletti as the new coach.
“I would say it’s 80 per cent that he stays at Inter but Chelsea? You cannot exclude anything at the moment”.
Speaking earlier today about reports of a move to Chelsea, Candreva said: “I’m proud to wear this shirt.
“I’ve bought into an important project here and I’m happy to be here.
“This shirt has an important history which I honour every time I wear it.
“The links with Chelsea are nice but there’s been absolutely nothing to date.
“The club will take care of any bids that may come in.”
