West Ham want to sign £17million Chelsea forward Bertrand Traore.
The Irons are big admirers of the 21-year-old who reached the Europa League final with Ajax and want to secure a loan deal.
The Burkina Faso international impressed on loan at Ajax last season after he scored 13 goals and managed six assists across all competitions.
Traore will be back with the Blues over the close-season to discuss his future at Stamford Bridge – but there is plenty of interest in the 21-year-old from other clubs should Chelsea decide to either sell him permanently or allow him to leave on loan again.
It is claimed another loan looks more likely, with the Hammers interested in a player who can operate as a central striker or in a deeper role.
They are prepared, however, to sign him permanently if the Champions are open to allowing him to leave.
The interest could be scuppered by Everton who are keen on Traore as part of any deal to take Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea.
Traore scored 14 times from 43 appearances in all competition over the past season.
