Romelu Lukaku has given another hint over his future by playing on a Chelsea-branded pitch and partying with Blues goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
Lukaku posted a video of himself enjoying a casual game on a five-a-side pitch emblazoned with Chelsea’s badge in Los Angeles on Saturday.
The video, captioned ‘bang bang’, shows Lukaku scoring a powerful shot on the training pitch surrounded by his former club’s logo.
Lukaku was at the Urban Soccer 5 centre, a set of five-a-side pitches which display Chelsea’s badge year round.
He was playing against a team representing Marseille – former Arsenal star Samir Nasri and Tigres forward Andre-Pierre Gignac were also involved in the tournament.
And in another pointer, Lukaku’s Belgium international team-mate Courtois took to Instagram to post a video of the pair together at Avenue nightclub.
The stars looked to be enjoying themselves as they flashed huge smiles to the camera as Courtois offered up a hand gesture.
Courtois and Lukaku are former team-mates at Chelsea but did not feature together in a competitive match for the Blues due to a series of loan spells away from Stamford Bridge.
Lukaku has told his agent Mino Raiola he wants to leave Everton and he is keen on a move back to Chelsea, where he played from 2011 until 2014.
Blues manager Antonio Conte has named Lukaku on his list of transfer targets but Everton are holding out for £100million for their star striker.
The 24-year-old enjoyed another fruitful year in front of goal for the Toffees as he netted 25 times in the Premier League last season.
Lukaku joined Everton from Chelsea in £28m in 2014 after finding his path to the first team blocked at Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile Chelsea’s contract talks with Courtois have stalled with the Belgian thought to be asking for a deal worth double his current £90,000 a week wages.
The club are hopeful they can come to an agreement with Courtois before the start of the new season and the 25-year-old is set to report for pre-season training in July.
