TIEMOUE BAKAYOKO has reportedly completed his medical at Chelsea ahead of his move.
The Monaco forward has been edging closer to his £35m switch to Stamford Bridge in the last few weeks and has now travelled to England to undergo his medical.
The Sun claim tests have already been carried out and there are now just a few details to iron out before the transfer is finalised.
They add the club are expecting to announce his arrival on Saturday when the transfer window officially opens.
The 22-year-old had been linked with a move to Manchester United but is thought to be keen to work under Antonio Conte rather than Jose Mourinho.
Bakayoko is set to become Conte’s first signing of the summer but the 47-year-old hopes to wrap up a few more deals before pre-season starts.
Juventus star Alex Sandro is also said to be nearing a move to Chelsea but Juventus are standing firm in their £60m valuation.
The Brazil international would become the most expensive defender in the world if the Blues pulled off a £60m deal.
His team-mate Leonardo Bonucci, as well as Southampton’s Virgil van Dijk and Everton forward Romelu Lukaku, are also on Conte’s wishlist.
