Juventus defender Alex Sandro is reportedly ready to hand in a transfer request to force a move away from the club – with Chelsea said to be very interested.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a Premier League move for some time, but many have the Blues as the rumoured front-runners for the Brazilian’s signature.
Sandro played 42 matches for Juventus in all competitions last season, scoring three goals and helping his side to the Champions League final in Cardiff.
However, according to reports in Italy, the defender is now ready for a move.
Italian publication La Repubblica claim that Roman Abramovich is ready to double Sandro’s wages in a bid to lure the defender to Stamford Bridge.
The report also states that the price for the Brazilian could rise to £52.5m – which would give Juventus a massive profit on a player that only joined the club in 2015.
