Hazard speaks about possible Chelsea move for Lukaku: “Great player, a great guy and a good friend”

Eden Hazard has claimed that he would love Chelsea to sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton, as the forward is a good friend of his and also a good player.

The winger has made it very clear that while he would like to see Lukaku join the Blues, he knows that the final decision will be down to the player himself – and there are plenty of options for Lukaku to consider, including one from Manchester United and former boss Jose Mourinho.

Hazard said to The Straits Times: “He’s a great player, a great guy and a good friend but he will have to make his own choice.

“He’s still young, only 24 but every season he has scored a lot of goals in the Premier League and this shows he’s a good striker because the Premier League is very tough.”

One person who will be at Chelsea next season is Eden Hazard, with the winger claiming he is happy at the club, despite potential interest from Real Madrid, and that he’s willing to remain at a club and in a city where he’s happy.

Hazard is obviously a huge Chelsea fan favourite as well, and won the Fans’ Player of the Year award, beating N’Golo Kante to it.
