Chelsea are finally busy in the transfer market with Antonio Conte who is close to completing his first two summer signings. The Premier League champions are closing in on the signings of Alex Sandro and Tiemoue Bakayoko but the Italian tactician wants more new faces to join Stamford Bridge.
Calciomercato.com can confirm Chelsea’s summer budget will be in the region of £ 250 million, approximately € 270 million. Part of those money will be used to complete the signing of Juventus star Alex Sandro who has already agreed terms with the Blues.
Conte, however, is expected to miss out on Leonardo Bonucci who reportedly wants to stay at Juventus for at least one more season.
Tiemoue Bakayoko is expexted to have his medical this week, whilst Chelsea will also make an attempt to sign Virgil Van Dijk and Romelu Lukaku.
The possible signings of Van Dijk and Alex Sandro may allow Conte to swap to a four-man defence although he’s expected to begin the 2017/18 campaign with the same 3-4-3 system which lead Chelsea to a Premier League triumph last season.
