Chelsea Transfer News: Lukaku contract agreed, Bakayoko deal close, Traore exit this week

Chelsea transfer news – Tuesday June 20

Starsport understand the Blues have agreed personal terms with Romelu Lukaku.

The Everton striker is wanted at Stamford Bridge this summer – three years after being sold to the Toffees.

Chelsea got £28m for him, but it’ll cost lots more than that to get him back.

But they’ve taken a big step forward by sorting a contract with the Belgian striker.

Starport understand Lukaku will earn £150,000-a-week at Chelsea.

Lukaku is currently on holiday, and the transfer will kick into gear when he returns.

Tiemoue Bakayoko is close to a £50m switch from Monaco.

Bakayoko played a key role in the French club’s success last season.

Monaco won the French title and got to the Champions League semi-finals.

And that’s seen the French midfielder’s valuation shoot up to the £50m mark.

Starsport understand a transfer is close to completion for the 22-year-old.

Bakayoko will partner fellow Frenchman N’Golo Kante in the heart of Chelsea’s midfield.

Bertrand Traore is set to join Lyon this week.

The Daily Mail claim a £16m switch will go through in the next few days.

Traore spent last season on loan at Ajax and impressed.

Lyon are looking for strikers with Alexandre Lacazette set to leave the club.

Arsenal want the France international, and Traore looks to be heading in as his replacement.
