CHELSEA have agreed personal terms with Juventus star Alex Sandro.
That’s according to Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri.
Antonio Conte is pushing hard for Chelsea’s board to be active in the transfer window with the club yet to make a signing.
Juve left wing-back Sandro is said to be a priority on his wishlist but Chelsea are yet to convince the club into selling.
Last week Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta confirmed Chelsea made a “very big” offer for Sandro and stressed they were reluctant to part ways.
And journalist Palmeri has reaffirmed that – although he claims Chelsea are making progress with the player on a personal level.
“Do you think Alex Sandro will move to Chelsea?” asked a Twitter user.
Palmeri replied: “It’s complicated.
“Alex Sandro has found agreement on personal terms with Chelsea, but Juventus have no intention to sell.”
Fees of around £60m have been reported but the Serie A champions are determined to keep hold of him.
Sandro, who played a key part in helping Juve reach the Champions League final last term, has a contract with the Italian giants until 2020.
