ANTONIO CONTE has reportedly got high hopes for two of Chelsea’s top defensive prospects.
The Blues gaffer is set to wave goodbye to skipper John Terry at the end of the season.
And the Mirror claim Kurt Zouma will be allowed to go out on loan to boost his recovery from injury.
A defensive duo Conte wants to keep hold of though is Nathan Ake and Andreas Christensen.
The pair have enjoyed loan spells away from Stamford Bridge over the past two years.
And Ake was even recalled to west London in January in case Conte needed him for the title run-in.
The Mirror say Chelsea are keen to have the Dutchman, as well as Christensen, at their disposal next term.
Both players have been linked with moves within the Premier League and further afield.
But Zouma is apparently the only defender Conte is prepared to send out on loan this summer.
