CHELSEA will beat Watford tonight with Cesc Fabregas playing a key role for his side.
That’s according to Paul Merson who has predicted a 3-0 victory for the champions.
The Blues midfielder has been in fine form recently and has become the first player in Premier League history to reach 10 or more assists in six different seasons.
Merson told Sky Sports: “I would like to think Chelsea are going to win this game.
“I know they’ve won the league, all wrapped up and the season is over, but they’ve still got two games at home.
“Watford have hit a brick wall since hitting 40 points, and they’re of course staying up.
“I’m going three-nil to Chelsea, I just think Cesc Fabregas will fly and I don’t know how they’ll stop him delivering.
“He’s been superb in the second half of this season.”
Watford currently sit 16th in the Premier League table and have secured survival following Hull’s relegation.
Chelsea are seven points clear with just two games left to play and know they will be lifting the trophy this weekend when they face Sunderland.
