Eden Hazard has claimed that the key to Chelsea’s success this season has been their hard work under Antonio Conte.
The Italian manager has enjoyed a brilliant first season in charge at Stamford Bridge after he was appointed as Jose Mourinho’s permanent successor last term.
Conte led Chelsea to the Premier League title in his first campaign in charge and is still hoping to add the FA Cup trophy to his haul ahead of next Saturday’s final against Arsenal.
The former Juventus boss is known for his demanding style in training and Hazard was keen to stress the big influence Conte has had at Cobham this season.
Hazard told Sky Sports when asked about Conte: “It was good. We trained very hard!
“You don’t know, because you don’t see it in training. We trained a lot and I think it was the key this season.”
Hazard will be featuring for Chelsea when the Blues line up against Arsenal in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday afternoon.
