A number of clubs have already started to announce their first summer signings and Chelsea are expected to be busy over the next couple of months.
We’ve already seen two players leave Stamford Bridge in the past 24 hours, with Dominic Solanke and Asmir Begovic signing deals with Liverpool and Bournemouth respectively.
Antonio Conte will no doubt want to strengthen in the coming weeks as the Blues try to regain their Premier League title, as well as mount a challenge for the Champions League.
So who do the bookies believe will arrive in west London?
Well, according to the bookies, money suggests that Romelu Lukaku will make his return to the club.
Conte will want to strengthen upfront ahead of the new season, especially with question marks over Diego Costa’s future.
A number of clubs are expected to move for Lukaku, who impressed at Everton this season, and SkyBet are offering odds of 8/11 that he returns to Chelsea.
Manchester United are second favourites at 5/1, while he is 5/2 to remain at Goodison Park once the summer transfer window shuts at the end of August.
As well as the potential odds-on signing of Lukaku, Chelsea are also favourites to sign Tiemoue Bakayoko, Ben Gibson, Moussa Dembele and Jordi Alba ahead of the new season.
Monaco midfielder Bakayoko is priced at 6/5 to move to Stamford Bridge, but the money suggests he will remain with his current club with odds at 10/11.
There are odds of 8/1 for the midfielder to join Manchester United, while Liverpool are priced at 12/1 and Spurs at 25/1.
Conte will want to bring in a new defender in the summer and Middlesbrough’s Gibson is favourite with the bookies to join the Blues.
The young defender, who earned himself a call-up to Engand’s upcoming games next month, impressed for Boro despite their relegation and he is expected to have a number of suitors.
The Blues are 7/4 to secure his signature, with Spurs at 9/2, Leicester at 8/1 and Arsenal and West Brom priced at 9/1.
The defender is expected to move on but he is 7/2 to remain with Boro in the Championship.
Chelsea were linked with a move for Celtic’s Dembele in January and the bookies have him priced at 2/1 to finally make to the move to the capital.
Dembele will no doubt attract attention from Europe’s top teams in the summer but he is 6/5 to stay in Scotland with the league champions.
The Blues are also favourites to sign Alba from Barcelona but odds of 8/1 suggest that perhaps won’t happen.
The left-back fell out of favour at the club last season under Luis Enrique but he could come back into contention under new manager Ernesto Valverde.
Alba is odds-on at 1/10 to still be a Barcelona player come next season.
Chelsea may be favourites to sign those five players but you can get odds at less than 10s for a number of other players to join the league champions.
Joe Hart is 7/2, Ivan Perisic 6/1, Ryan Bertrand 8/1 and Riyad Mahrez is priced at 9/1 to move to the club.
If you like a long shot, Alexis Sanchez, Kyle Walker and Kylian Mbappe are at 16/1, while Sergio Aguero is 18/1 to swap Manchester City for the Blues.
There are also odds on a number of players following Solanke and Begovic out the door at Stamford Bridge.
