PARIS ST-GERMAIN star Marco Verratti has jetted off on holiday to Ibiza – and he’s waiting for a call from Barcelona.
The Italian midfielder has impressed for the French giants this season, despite them losing out on the Ligue 1 title to Monaco.
He netted three goals and chipped in with five assists in all competitions.
His future remains up in the air with numerous top clubs chasing his signature – including Premier League champions Chelsea.
It’s suggested Barca’s top players are also keen for him to join the club.
Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta are long-term admirers and would welcome his arrival.
Verratti will reportedly ask PSG for a transfer if Barca come calling.
However, bigwigs in the French capital could dig their heels in.
The Sun suggested last week that Antonio Conte lodged a £55m bid to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
The Italian chief needs to bolster his ranks this summer if Chelsea are to compete domestically and in Europe.
