CHELSEA could let Asmir Begovic leave Stamford Bridge in the near future, according to reports.
The Bosnian keeper has played behind Thibaut Courtois for the last two seasons since joining from Stoke in 2015.
But now it seems like he could be moving on in the search for more playing time.
The Telegraph report that while Chelsea blocked a move for Begovic from the Cherries in January as they were not able to sign a replacement, they won’t stand in his way come the summer.
They also claim Bournemouth are keen to get the deal over the line within two weeks of the season ending, which would mean the transfer could be completed by June 4.
Begovic stood in for Courtois several times last season as the Belgian battled injury.
But his playing time has dramatically decreased this season, as he’s mostly been limited to appearances in the League and FA Cups.
He racked up five Premier League seasons under his belt as a starter for Stoke before opting for a move to Chelsea.
He’s earned 56 caps for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
