Chelsea deal almost done after Antonio Conte talks – reports

KURT ZOUMA is set for a season-long loan to Marseille, according to reports.

French paper l’Equipe claim Chelsea are ready to let the central defender leave an get first-team experience next year.

Zouma has failed to break into Antonio Conte’s backline since his return from a long-term injury.

The Italian has preferred the combination of David Luiz, Cesar Azpilicueta and Gary Cahill in defence.

Marseille chief Andoni Zubizarreta has reportedly sounded out Conte over a possible move for Zouma this summer.

And the Blues feel a loan move would be good for the centre-back.

Valencia are also interested in the France international who has made just nine Premier League appearances this season.

Chelsea signed Zouma in January 2014 for £12m from St Etienne.

The Blues will be crowned Premier League champions officially when they lift the trophy on Sunday.

Their final match of the season is against Sunderland at Stamford Bridge.
