DIEGO COSTA is reportedly inching closer to leaving Chelsea.
Diego Costa is currently the subject of a mega contract offer from Tianjin Quanjian.
The Chinese Super League outfit are supposedly prepared to pay the Spaniard wages of £500,000 a week.
Costa was spotted in the Far East last week dining with super agent Jorge Mendes and Quanjian officials.
At the time, the club’s owner, Shu Yuhui, admitted a deal was being ‘worked on’.
And now, Spanish TV station Cadena Ser claim a breakthrough has been made in negotiations.
It is said he has signed a pre-contract agreement and the Blues will receive £76million for the transfer.
The report says Costa will earn £25m a year.
Should a deal go through, Express Sport understands Conte could swoop for Real Madrid star Alvaro Morata.
Costa has plundered home 19 goals in the Premier League this term.
