ANTONIO CONTE will give Baba Rahman a second chance at Stamford Bridge.
The 22-year-old left-back was signed in 2015 for £14m rising to £22m but struggled to impress in west London.
Rahman failed to cement a place at Chelsea and was loaned out to Schalke last summer.
But the Daily Mirror say Blues boss Conte will integrate him back into his squad at the end of this season with Champions League football returning to Stamford Bridge.
Rahman is currently recovering from a knee ligament injury picked up at the Africa Cup of Nations in January.
However, the defender should be fully fit by the time Chelsea begin their pre-season.
The Mirror add that Schalke are keen to bring Rahman back next campaign if things don’t work out under Conte.
