BOURNEMOUTH are reportedly closing in on a deal for Chelsea backup goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
The Bosnian, 29, has long been linked with a move to the Cherries.
He almost left for the Vitality Stadium in January but the Blues couldn’t find a replacement stopper in time for the deal to be completed.
But with the summer transfer window approaching, the move looks to be back on the cards.
The Daily Mail claim a £15m move for Begovic to Bournemouth is on the brink of completion.
Apparently a medical is booked for the keeper and he’s expected to agree personal terms with the south coast club later this week.
Begovic is one of several Chelsea players tipped to move to Bournemouth this summer.
Nathan Ake, who spent the first half of the season on loan with the Cherries before being recalled by his parent club, has also been linked with a switch.
And John Terry, who’s played his last game for the Blues is another defender who’s been connected with Eddie Howe’s side.
