CHELSEA are keeping tabs on Porto striker Rui Pedro, according to reports.
Portuguese daily O Jogo claim the 19-year-old, who was working with Jorge Mendes, has had trials at Chelsea.
The Blues didn’t make a formal move for his services – but they’re still watching him closely.
Antonio Conte will need to cough up if he want to bring him to Stamford Bridge, though.
Pedro penned a new deal last summer.
And his contract includes a hefty £25m release clause.
Since making his debut in 2016, the youngster has played five games and scored two goals.
He’s also represented Portugal at youth level but is yet to take his full international bow.
Chelsea are expected to be in the market for new striker in the summer.
But given his relative inexperience, Pedro would almost certainly be viewed as one for the future.
