ANTONIO CONTE has created a positive environment at Chelsea, according to club legend Paulo Ferreira.
Chelsea chiefs turned to the Italian last summer following a dismal campaign that resulted in a 10th-place Premier League finish.
Conte has transformed the team and could land two trophies in his maiden campaign.
Chelsea have a seven-point lead at the top of the league and face Tottenham in the FA Cup semi-finals.
Key to Conte’s success has been rejuvenating star men such as Eden Hazard and Diego Costa.
And Chelsea legend Ferreira, who now works in the club’s loan department, says that the squad think he is ‘fantastic’.
“This is a game between two managers who both want to win,” Ferreira told the Standard.
“But you can see the reaction on the bench that Antonio is quite different [to Jose].
“Conte is more involved. If he could jump on the pitch and play, he would. He’s so passionate. He can’t just sit still on the bench.
“Everyone is happy at the training ground, the players say he’s fantastic and he motivates them.”
