Chelsea executives have met with the agent of target Franck Kessie ahead of a proposed move in the summer transfer window, according to one report in Italy.
The Serie A star has reportedly been a target of the Blues for some time – with Antonio Conte apparently impressed with the levels of performances the 20-year-old has been producing.
Now, CalcioMercato are reporting that Chelsea officials were to meet with Kessie’s agent today to discuss a possible move in the upcoming transfer window.
The report claims that AS Roma have already agreed a £23.4 million deal to bring the midfielder to the club, with an academy player moving the other way – but negotiations with the player’sagent are stalling.
Everton have also been creditted with interest in Kessie in the past.
