DIDIER DROGBA believes Romelu Lukaku could be heading back to Chelsea this summer.
Lukaku left Stamford Bridge for Everton in 2014 but is being heavily linked with a mega-money return at the end of the season.
The Belgian striker failed to ever make a major impact in west London but has been superb over his last five seasons with the Toffees and West Brom.
Chelsea legend Drogba says Lukaku will want to make amends for his difficult first stint with the Blues and can see the 23-year-old completing a blockbuster transfer this summer.
Drogba told Sky Sports: “If he comes to Chelsea it will be great for the club.
“He knows the club already and I think he wants to prove he can be successful here, he didn’t get the chance to do it.
“Chelsea is his club since he was young, so why not?
“He wants to be the best. He’s really working hard to become the best.”
Lukaku has been in wonderful form for Everton this season, scoring a stunning 24 Premier League goals.
